About Evie
With a degree in clinical psychology in hand, I started private practice in 1979, as a licensed MFT. I was one of the founders of the Los Angeles Women’s Therapy Center, where I worked for over 20 years.
I began training in Imago Relationship Therapy in the 90’s, getting certified in 1994. I went on to become an advanced clinician in Imago, a workshop presenter, and have served on the Board of Imago
Relational International for the last 6 years. My experience is that Imago is the best technology for healing the places in our relationships that cause disconnect.
I think, as with most of us, it is the life experiences, years of extra-curricular training and workshops, and personal healing journeys that much more make us who we are. Part of my orientation is that the only part of us that is real, our essence, can’t be harmed, and that no matter what happened to us, we can, with support, take the helm of our own lives and learn to take good care of ourselves; and move towards the peace and happiness we long for.
